Beyond that…

Different states are trying to figure out how to regulate AI. Colorado has its own “Colorado AI Act,” the effective date of which has been pushed back for the time being; New York has a new set of consumer protection regulations that have just been signed into law (and include regulations governing “algorithmic pricing”); and, the federal government has its own plans, one of which is to decree a 10-year moratorium on State AI laws.
