AI Is Handling More Of The Recruiting Lifecycle

First, the process is now being called “Talent Acquisition,” and it is being regarded with a more analytical view. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is starting to handle routine aspects like basic screening, scheduling interviews, and setting up and handling some aspects of onboarding. The results from new hires in their positions are being measured not only initially, but also farther along in the early stages of new hires’ careers, including such aspects as productivity, revenue per employee, etc., with a view toward capacity planning. Overall, employers are tending to be conservative in the numbers of new hires while they assess the direction of the economy.
