Are Leaders Leaving Employees Behind in AI Adoption?

A recent study indicated that “82% of executives and 68% of managers said they use AI,” but only 35 percent of employees currently use it. The study covered both North America and Europe. Only a slight majority of employees indicated their organizations are “transparent” about AI use, and even fewer considered decisions supported by AI to be fair. The disparity also extends to the perceived need for adding AI skills. The bottom line is that – once again – communication is key, both upward and downward. How successful it will be for any given company will be up to that company – because AI is not a “magic bullet.”
