AI in Legislation

A bi-partisan bill has been introduced in the US Senate that would require major US employers and the Federal agencies to report to the US DOL any layoffs that are caused by or otherwise related to artificial intelligence. The DOL would then be required to compile a report to be made available to both the US Congress and the public.
