Another Side of the AI Coin

According to Online Sources, it turns out that around 40 percent of employers (in a survey of more than 1000) have laid off employees in favor of implementing artificial intelligence … and over half of those now think they made a mistake in doing so. The reasons varied but included lack of knowledge of AI and how to implement it, which jobs would be most appropriate for AI implementation, and general lack of AI experience. That said, 75 percent indicated they would continue their implementation, and more than that said they plan to increase their investment. 

Along that line, President Trump has signed an Executive Order making AI literacy a priority for education around the country.
