Emphasis on AI May Result in Cuts to Employee Pay and Workers’ Compensation

A survey of 866 US business leaders by ResumeBuilder.com found that over half of US companies are planning to reduce or are actually reducing compensation to employees in order to make capital available for AI implementation. According to the survey, 54% of companies will have reduced employee compensation, and 26% will have laid off employees in this move. The reductions are expected to encompass all forms of compensation, not just salary.
